Britain's Acid Bath Murderer
John George Haigh was born into a religious household. Fear of sin was taught, but after learning that sin didn't result in immediate punishment, he began to backslide. Getting ostracized from his church from criminal activity. After moving away and multiple prison sentences, John realized the only way to prevent another venture behind walls was to remove any witnesses. After reviewing a French murderers scheme, John decided to follow suit. Practicing on mice, then moving to man. But in his carelessness, he picked a victim that was not easily dismissed. Olive would be the downfall that led him to the noose.
