The Atrocity that is Martin Dumollard

Martin was unfortunate enough to be born from an exiled father. He grew up as an only child after the death of his younger brother. But that wasn't easy either. After the empire invaded their homeland, the family fled only to be caught as they sought refuge. His father was killed and Martin witnessed the entire affair. His mother became catatonic, by four he learned how to find enough food to survive. As an adult he stayed away from people as best he could, but life was hard. After injuries he found his niche taking care of livestock. But a woman found him intriguing. Pushing them into courtship, then marriage. She wanted to sit at home living a comfortable life. But Martin couldn't provide....until he started stealing from women. This led to attacks and murders. For years he went after women, selling their jewelry and clothes. As the bodies stockpiled, so did their clothes. The items would help lead to the couples undoing. He was tried and convicted for the crimes that could be proven. In the end, he was led to the guillotine ending his reign of terror.
